California 200 Off Track Race Hero

As most of you are aware of by now. There was a horrific accident Saturday 8-14-10 at the California 200 off road race. In this accident eight spectators were killed, and even more were injured seriously.

Now out of this event a great act of heroism was performed by Andrew Therrien 22, who unfortunately lost his life in the process of saving others. Andrew's actions helped to save the life of his girlfriend and 3 year old daughter, as well as the 7 year old daughter of one of his friends. Could you even begin to image the love he must have had to perform this act?

The hero in us tends to emerge in times of crisis and crisis tends to galvanize the human spirit and bring out the best in people the real in people. Name any disaster, and you will also see where people came together for one common objective. Andrew Therrien even though only 22 showed that heroism and the choices people make everyday to serve their fellow man.
We are truly all in this together.

Here at the Jacobs Deliverance Foundation (http://www.thejdfc.org)we see the good in people everyday. Because without people who believe in their fellow man, we wouldn't be able to continue. The people here who put in long hours for little to no financial reward feel the greatest since of accomplishment imaginable every time we witness someone go from nowhere to self supporting.

If you can find it in your heart to help us in our mission to feed, educate, house, and employ the homeless please donate now at:
